PREPARE Before you start

Confirm your device and usage goal first

Before you begin, decide which device you will use and which region's services you mainly need to access. VPNUW supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux on any number of devices; this page focuses on common import steps for the first four platforms. Start with the device you use most often. Confirm that the account, subscription, and routes work properly, then repeat the same process on other devices. This makes it easier to determine whether a problem comes from the account, client settings, or device permissions.

Keep the user panel signed in in your browser; you will return to the account overview and client download page several times. The system may ask you to allow the client to add a network configuration. This is a normal permission required to establish a connection. Check the requesting app's name before confirming the prompt. On organization-managed devices, network configuration access may be restricted by policy. If so, check the device policy instead of repeatedly reinstalling the client.

This page covers only the fastest path to a working connection. More advanced topics, including route types, split tunneling, protocol selection, and ongoing maintenance, are covered in the complete user handbook. For your first setup, keep the client's default settings and avoid changing several parameters at once.

ACCOUNT Create an account

Create an account and save your login details

Open the VPNUW account creation page, enter a username you plan to use long term, and choose a unique password that you do not reuse elsewhere. No email address is required; your username and password are the main credentials for accessing the user panel. Before submitting, make sure the username is easy to identify and the password is stored securely. After creation, the page will take you to the user panel, where you can view plans, orders, subscriptions, and client access options.

If another account is already signed in in the browser, first confirm that the username shown at the top of the page or in the account overview is the one you intend to use. Do not keep an account signed in on a shared device, and never send your username and password together in a public chat or document. Poorly managed account details can prevent you from returning to the correct panel when the subscription needs updating, even if the client still connects.

After creating your account, do not look for the route list yet. A new account must have a plan selected first; once the order takes effect, the account overview will provide subscription details that can be imported into a client. Following this order prevents an inactive plan from being mistaken for a client problem.

PLAN Choose a plan

Choose a plan based on your data needs

On the plans page, first decide whether you use the service continuously or occasionally. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, making it suitable for ongoing connections, everyday access to international websites, AI Tools, or Streaming. Data packages remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable when usage is irregular or you prefer to pay according to actual consumption. Check the data rules before comparing prices to avoid repeating the process after choosing the wrong billing method.

After choosing a plan, verify the plan name, data allowance, and amount due in the user panel, then select an available method from Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, return to the order or account overview and wait for the active plan and subscription entry to appear. Do not judge the order status solely by whether the payment page has closed; use the result shown in the user panel. If payment is complete but the panel has not updated, keep the order details and use the ticket entry instead of creating the same order repeatedly.

When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. For the first setup, simply confirm that the current plan is active. You do not need to enter pricing, data allowance, or order details in the client; the client uses the subscription link you obtain next. All plans can be used on multiple devices, but the subscription link should still be stored only on your own devices.

SUBSCRIPTION Get the subscription

Copy the subscription link from the account overview

Once the plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription section. Use the page's copy option to get your dedicated subscription link. Do not alter any characters in the link, and do not paste leading or trailing spaces into the client. Some clients can recognize a subscription directly from the clipboard; others require you to create a subscription first and paste the link into an address field. Both methods use the same account subscription data.

A subscription link is the key a client uses to read route configuration and should be protected as carefully as your account password. Do not post it on forums, in public screenshots, group announcements, or online conversion sites. If a guide needs to show the link format, use an obviously fake value, such as:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

The address above is for format illustration only and cannot connect to VPNUW. The real link must be copied from the signed-in user panel. If you suspect someone else has seen the subscription link, stop sharing it and handle the update through the user panel or a support ticket. After copying it, leave the account overview open temporarily and switch to the client for your operating system to import it.

CLIENT Import

Import the subscription into clients on each platform

First, get the client that matches your system, or the corresponding access method, from the client download page in the user panel. This page does not provide static installer URLs because client access, account status, and subscription delivery are handled in the user panel. After installation, do one thing: find the subscription or configuration entry, paste the link you copied, run an update, and confirm that the route list appears. During the first import, do not also change DNS, protocols, split tunneling, or system proxy mode.

WINDOWS

Windows: Add it from subscription management

Open the client download page in the user panel, get the Windows client, and complete the installation as prompted. In the client, look for “Subscription Management,” “Configuration Management,” or “Import from URL.” Create a subscription, paste the complete link into the address field, and click Save or Update. When the update finishes, selectable regional routes should appear in the main interface. If the list is empty, return to subscription management and refresh it manually instead of creating multiple identical subscriptions.

When starting a connection for the first time, Windows may show prompts related to network access or the system proxy. After confirming that the prompt comes from the client you just installed, allow the required permissions. If the client says it is connected but the browser still uses the previous network, close and reopen the browser, then check whether the client's system proxy or network mode is enabled.

MACOS

macOS: Allow the network configuration

Get the macOS client from the user panel, place it in the system Applications folder, and launch it. Open the subscription, configuration, or remote configuration page, choose Add via URL, paste the subscription link, and run an update. macOS may ask for the device unlock credential or confirmation to add a network configuration. This authorizes the connection component; confirm the app's source and continue as prompted.

After a successful import, choose a route and start the connection from the menu bar or the client's main window. If the system says the configuration already exists, do not repeatedly authorize it. Return to the client and check whether a connection toggle is already available. If the app cannot obtain network permission, quit the client and check the configuration status in system network settings. For complex permission issues, continue in the Support Center.

ANDROID

Android: Paste the link and refresh routes

Open the client download entry in the user panel and prepare the Android client as instructed. After launching it, open the subscription, configuration file, or remote configuration menu and choose Add from Clipboard or URL. Make sure there are no extra spaces at either end of the link, save it, and tap Update. Wait for regional routes and route names to appear in the list.

When connecting for the first time, Android displays a system confirmation dialog for establishing a network connection. After confirmation, the client's status should change to connected. If access does not resume after switching networks, disconnect first, wait for the current Wi-Fi or mobile network to recover, and then choose a route again. Do not repeatedly update the subscription while the underlying network is still unavailable.

IOS

iOS: Import from Add Subscription

Open the client download page in the user panel and prepare the client using the iOS access method provided there. In the client, open the subscription or configuration page, choose Add Remote Subscription, paste your dedicated link, and save it. Some clients ask whether to import when they detect clipboard content; confirm only when you have just copied the subscription link yourself.

When starting a connection, iOS asks for permission to add a network configuration and may require confirmation using the device unlock method. After authorizing it, return to the client, choose the required regional route, and turn on the connection. If the route list does not appear, update it from the subscription page. If the update reports a network error, use a browser to confirm that the underlying network can open ordinary webpages.

VERIFY Verify

Connect to a route and check that it works

After the subscription finishes updating, choose a route that matches the target service region. For example, choose a Japan route for content intended for Japan, or a Singapore route for services in Singapore. The route name may show types such as IEPL, transit, or direct connection. For your first connection, use the client's current recommendation or an easy-to-identify route; there is no need to compare every protocol and advanced setting immediately.

After clicking Connect, first check that the client's own status has changed to connected, then open a new browser window and check the target website. If the page still shows the region from before the connection, close the old page and open it again so browser caching does not affect the result. You can also check whether the target service is showing content for the expected region. Change only one variable during verification: keep the client settings unchanged and switch only the route. This makes it clear whether the issue affects one route or the entire setup.

If none of the routes can connect, first confirm that the plan is active, the subscription can update, and the device can open ordinary webpages. Then check the system time and the client's network permissions. If only one website fails while other international websites work, the issue is more likely related to the target service's regional checks or the current exit. Try another route in the same region. Detailed fault-isolation steps are available in the Support Center; there is no need to change many options at once on this page.

DAILY USE Daily use

Keep the subscription updated and routes matched

After the first connection works, daily use can stay simple: open the client, update the subscription, choose a route matching the target region, and connect. Once the client works normally, do not repeatedly delete and re-import the subscription. When the route list changes, use the update function for the existing subscription. Re-copy the subscription only when the link expires, the account changes, or support staff specifically request it.

After switching from Wi-Fi to another network, if the connection does not recover automatically, disconnect the current route, confirm that the underlying network works, and reconnect. Before Streaming, transferring large files, or using AI Tools for an extended period, open the target page and run a brief check. If performance becomes unstable, first try another route in the same region instead of changing the client, protocol, and system settings all at once.

Store the subscription link only on your own devices and in a trusted password manager. When configuring a new device, sign in to the user panel and copy the link again; this is more reliable than searching old chats or screenshots. For split tunneling, route types, long-term client maintenance, and advanced scenarios, continue with the VPNUW User Handbook. For order, connection, or route issues, use the Support Center and select the relevant problem category.
